Tree Request Process
(1) Go to our "Request A Tree!" form : https://forms.gle/A2Jo2cTUdJqESYTo8
(2) After we receive your Tree Request, we'll contact you to schedule a Site Visit and discuss which species would be appropriate for your site.
(3) In the meantime, review the list of city-approved species to choose your species.
(4) After our Site Visit, file a free permit with City of Oakland Tree Services with your requested species.
(5) We will schedule a planting date for our volunteers to plant your trees. (We plant November-May.) If you would like to join us, sign up to volunteer here.
(6) We request $150/tree to cover the cost of the tree. Concrete removal is not included in this charge - owners must pay for concrete removal or do it themselves. Low cost options may be available in selected neighborhoods.
(7) Water your tree weekly for 3 years.
